As a Research Assistant in the Customer Experience Management specialist unit—one of eight within the Institute of Marketing Management—I am part of the School of Management and Law, which holds the prestigious Triple Crown accreditation (AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA), placing it among the top 1% of business schools worldwide.
My role spans four key areas: research and development, continuing education (Weiterbildung), project acquisition and management, and consulting.

UXR cost calculator

This UX research cost calculator helped our User Research Lead estimate travel expenses for planned studies. He was able to choose from 30 pre-populated studies and specify the country, enter the number of researchers involved, and indicate the number of days for the study.

Behind the scenes, the calculator uses individual sheets to source costs of flights, transport, accommodation, and food specific to each country, and provides a cost breakdown per study and an overall research budget.

This tool empowers the User Research Lead to quickly assess research costs in different locations to find the best fit for budget limitations, and present a clear and detailed cost estimate when requesting project sign-off.
